Know Your Body
Your body is not the same as anybody else’s.Why should your diet be?Beware! There is no “one” that works… in other words, there is no magic bullet. We are here to listen to you, and guide you to make SMART changes to your way of life. We know that committing to a diet is a life- changing event. Dr. Roberts and his staff will help you reach your goals. But more importantly, we will help you keep the weight off. At WeightSmart MD, we consider getting you to your goal as only PART of our task. WeightSmart MD is here to help you KEEP IT OFF. Once you reach your goal weight, we want you to come back monthly to weigh- in with us at no cost to you. Your personalized WeightSmart MD program will begin with the induction phase, a Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) consisting of high protein, and low fat foods. Once you achieve ketosis, you transition to the post- induction phase, when vegetables and fruits are added to your diet. As you lose weight, you will get a better idea of what is and what is not working for you. We want you to share your feelings about the program at your weekly meetings with your adviser and/ or Dr. Roberts. We are here to support you at every point in your program.
